The Naming System

Name

Many different parts of the world have different naming system. The most common naming system is putting our family name right after our given name or reversed, putting our family name first and then our given name. However in Malaysia, we don’t do that. We don’t have a family name. We only put our given name and our father’s name. In between them we put ‘Bin’ for male and ‘Binti’ for female. But, people in Malaysia nowadays start to NOT put the Bin and Binti for some unknown reason and it creates problems. But first, let me tell you how our names in Malaysia look like.

Male name – Ali Bin Abu

Female name – Nurul Binti Ahmad

As you can see, the ‘Bin’ and ‘Binti’ is between our name and our father’s name. However, most of us don’t have only one given name. We mostly have two or three given names. So our names mostly look like this:

Homosexuals and Their Logic

homosexual-clipart-Gay-Love-Equal-Love.png

This is pretty much a shock to me but homosexuality has become more popular than ever!! Homosexuals, if you don’t know, are people who are attracted to the same gender. Why is this shocking to me? Because in my country, most of us are Muslims and Islam prohibits us from having any kind of romantic relationship with the same gender. It’s just plain wrong. So I as a straight Muslim guy am very shocked to know that they are increasing in number. Having known that I try to imagine why and how they become homosexuals. I came up with this theory of mine.

John Titor: A Self-Proclaimed Time Traveler

titor_360000

It’s 2.20 am now and I’m freaking writing a script for a presentation that I’m not even sure if it’ll happen. Also, I have a paper that is due tomorrow… What the hell am I doing… Uh well, let’s write it anyway.

Have you ever heard of a guy named John Titor? No? Well let me tell you. In November 2000 there was a guy who called himself John Titor claiming to be from the future. He’s a self-proclaimed time traveller claiming that he traveled from the year 2036 to the year 1975 to secure an old computer named IBM 5100. He said that the computer has some kind of anti-virus that would help him to stop the world war three that’ll happen in the future. He has secured the computer and then traveled to the year 2000 to meet himself and do some research on his journey. And so, he shocked and attracted the internet’s interest by publicly announcing that he is from the future.

“Treat People How You Want To Be Treated”

o-GIVING-facebook.jpg

“Treat people how you want to be treated”. This saying is very common in our lives. We heard it as early as our childhood years most probably from our parents. They tell us to always treat people well in order to be treated well in return. But in this crappy world that we live in, this saying is not accurate anymore. If we continue to give and give and give, we won’t get anything in return. People are naturally ungrateful, I just learned that. I’m trying to be kind to everybody and I don’t mind that much if they don’t do the same to me. However, there’s one thing that I consider important and will piss me off if people don’t do the same as I did. The sharing of knowledge.

Now before I go any further I want to warn you that this will just be a rant of mine. Hey, I’m just a young immature college student after all. So now let’s begin.

The World of ‘Cables’

computer cables

Cables. We are living in a world where we can’t survive without these ‘cables’. What are cables you may ask? Well, it means a group of people who has the authority or power over something. For example, you want to apply for a job but your academic requirement isn’t sufficient. But you coincidentally, know someone from inside the company. They then help you to somehow bypass the requirement needed and get you a job in the company. Basically, you use them to get a job from the inside. These inside people are called cables. I don’t know if anyone out there uses this term the same way as we do but here in Malaysia, we meant it that way. Now, I’m going to talk about one particular organization in my college that are apparent on having these kinds of people.

instagram-1581266_960_720

Recently, I’ve gotten myself an Instagram. Is it fun to use? Well Kinda I don’t know. I mean, the only reason I made an account is because all my friends are there. So using this social media, I’ve learnt something from it.

People in Instagram don’t read

No really, they don’t read anything. They just scroll down and like every single post that pops up in their feed  as they scroll down.

Superficial Love

Anime girl Heart

Okay I might be lucky enough to have a female friend sharing her love problems with me. But well, all her problems are pretty nonsense to me. All of them would have been avoided if she is not being overdramatic about things that happened. I sometimes thinks that she actually wants to have all those drama in her life. But well, I’m not her so what do I know?

Anyway, she told me one thing that is so nonsense I just have to blog about it (not that anyone actually reads this blog). Without giving you any trivial detail, she said that she likes this one guy. And then I spontaneously asked her why. I don’t know if that question is supposed to be asked but what freaking ever man. And do you know what she answered? She answered like this:
